The Job

We are pleased to announce that we are currently looking to hire an intern for the position of ‘Recruitment, Promotions and Public Relations Intern’ at our office in central Taipei. This is a varied and challenging role that will see you develop new skills in international recruitment, working with companies and customers from around the world. You will also be trained in skills related to public relations, promotions, advertising, social media and search engine optimization strategy.

Our company, Gold Star TEFL Recruitment is a British owned and managed recruitment company specializing in the education sector. The company was founded over 5 years ago in Taipei city offering a professional and effective service to all our clients based in China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. You will be working with a small, dedicated and close-knit team entirely in English on a daily basis. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your language skills in an authentic business context.

The ideal intern will have a good command of English and will be fluent in Chinese. You will have an ambitious, creative and hard working mentality with an eagerness to learn and the ability to implement new skills in a variety of areas effectively.

This opportunity is for either full time or part time within the hours of 9am and 5:30pm from Monday to Friday. We will discuss suitable hours during the interview.

Main Responsibilities
Work on methods to drive traffic to our website and increase exposure online and offline
Develop content and articles for our website
Write and post adverts online
Develop business through social media channels such as Facebook
Contact TEFL training courses to promote our recruitment services
Work on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies to increase our Google search ranking
Assist the recruitment consultants in matching candidates to suitable positions
Generate new business and maintain relationships with existing clients
Keep records and database up to date and in order
Use English in the office and when dealing with clients

Requirements
