Colegio Decroly Americano an international school located in the town of Mixco, Guatemala; accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, provides a high standard education based on US curriculum for students from Preschool to Grade 12.
OUR EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM IS LOOKING FOR WELL QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and/or experience teaching and developing curriculum in the early years. Positions from November 9, 2015 to August 22, 2016.
ELEMENTARY TEACHERS
The ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English or related field. Must have classroom experience or teaching degree. These positions are to begin on November 9, 2015.
MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE FOR HIGH SCHOOL (algebra, geometry and biology). The ideal candidates will hold a BA BS in the subject to be taught. These positions are to begin on NOvember 9, 2015.
NEW FULLY CREDENTIALED TEACHERS ARE WELCOME TO APPLY
THE EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM OFFERS:
Monthly stipend starting at $13,500 annually
Full air fare from the US or Canada
Totally furnished shared housing in an apartment complex in Guatemala City this includes ALL utilities.
Spanish classes
Transportation to and from the school on school buses
Vacation
