Position Description:
Position Title?Contract Assistant Professor
Starting Date: August 1, 2016 (or later)
Teaching schedule?8:00 am-5:20 pm, Monday – Friday, Basic
teaching hours: 10 hours per week, including evening hours
Location?Hualien, Taiwan
Duties :
Teaching EGP/ESP courses.
Supporting English teaching and administrative duties in the school.
Salary: NT $69,985 per month (and extra pay for extra hours)
Work permit: Provided by the school
Requirements:
Native English Speaker
Transcripts
Educational Level: PhD in TESOL or related fields
CELTA (certificate of language Teaching to Adults) or DELTA (Diploma of language Teaching to Adults)
Criminal Background Check
Required Documents:
Curriculum vitae in English
Proof of diploma and documents related to the position, or teacher’s certificated issued by the Ministry of Education, and authorized by TECO(Taipei Economy and Cultural Office)
Two letters of recommendation
A 10-minute teaching demonstration video (Preferred Proficiency level: CEF B1)
Student Evaluations for the last two years
Other relevant supporting materials such as transcripts, and, if applicable, evidence of effective teaching
