This article discusses the varieties of English language: British, American and Australian. In the days of colonization, Britain had not only expanded its belongings, but also expanded the language of the people outside the Albion. A traditional English was modified and due to this various dialects were originated on new lands, the main of which are the American and Australian ones. But later on these dialects had an impact on British English.


E-mails are much less formal than official letters. They are quick and easy to send. They also allow you to communicate to a large group simultaneously. Sending e-mails can prevent playing phone tag and save time. However, if you are writing e-mails for business, you need to be more careful with your writing.


Based on insights gained from developing the curriculum for Language Preparation for Employment in the Health Sciences and a review of the literature on ESP, this paper is intended to offer theoretical support for ESL instructors developing ESP curricula for ESL contexts.


Language teaching and language learning focus on four skills: Reading Comprehension, Aural Comprehension, Writing and Speaking. Most course books authors organize their materials so as to teach these skills in an integrated way. This seems eminently reasonable, but is it?
