    Location: Online (Online)

I am a CELTA qualified teacher of English as a Second Language with over 5 years teaching experience.

Lessons are 45/90 minutes and include worksheets, homework, and error correction. During the lessons you will practice core language skills like reading, listening, speaking, and grammar. You will be asked to 'produce' language (speak and write) during lessons and as homework. Producing language is the only way we can ever learn a new language!

    GENERAL ENGLISH: beginner (A1), elementary (A1 - A2), pre-intermediate (A2 - B1), intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2), advanced (C1).

IELTs PREPARATION: Speaking (3 parts), Reading (3 sections), Writing (Task 1 and 2), Listening (4 sections). You will learn techniques for answering the exam questions as best as possible in the limited time you have. Sample topics: technology, the future, sports, global issues, relationships. Each topic will focus on specific grammar and vocabulary you will need for IELTs.

BUSINESS ENGLISH: Business and technology; International trade, commerce and finance. You will learn language necessary for meetings; telephoning; presentations; job interviews; negotiations; reports, minutes, and emails.

    Overview:

    1. Placement test sent to your email (what level are you?)

    2. Choose type of lessons you need (General, Exam, Business)

    3. Lesson 1 - personalisation you and your teacher agree on the content of lessons (i.e. Your grammar is amazing but you need a lot of speaking practice and understanding from context).

    4. Booking: respond to this ad or email englishlessonswithal@gmail.com.

    5. Payment: pay for lesson 1 only – after the lesson decide if you would like to continue with the course. If so, you can book lessons in sets of 5/10/15.
